Basis of the calculations
The configurator calculates the transmittance of the opening to EN ISO 10077-1, splitting the area between glass and frame from the sightline of each series and including the linear thermal bridge of the spacer. Frame transmittances (Uf), the air, water and wind classes and the acoustic figures are set plausibly for this demonstration; in reality they would come from EN ISO 10077-2 simulation and from rig testing. The installation thermal bridge is not included, and this is not a compliance calculation under any national building code.
